YouCat was introduced in 24 parishes of the Simla-Chandigarh Diocese.

Fr Julian SDB, as a Resource person for YouCat, gave a session to the youth of the parishes.

The Diocese of Simla–Chandigarh took a significant step in strengthening its catechetical ministry with a five-day Catechist Training Programme held from April 27 to May 1 at Vianney Home, Anmoh, Punjab.

Organised by the Diocesan Commission for Evangelization and Proclamation, the programme brought together catechists from across the diocese for an intensive period of spiritual renewal, theological reflection, and pastoral formation.

Participants engaged in sessions on key themes such as the Book of Exodus, the Eucharist, and the challenges confronting Christians in today's world. A special focus was given to YOUCAT Catechesis, presented as a dynamic and effective resource for engaging young people in the faith. Fr. Vianney, Coordinator of Commissions, also promoted the use of YOUCAT, underscoring its value as an accessible and relevant catechetical tool for the younger generation.
