MISSION TRAJECTORY
The Health Apostolate Commission aims to strengthen the healing ministry of Christ by promoting holistic health, dignity, and compassionate care for all, especially the poor and vulnerable. It focuses on preventive healthcare, awareness, and accessible services through trained volunteers, structured teams, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
The Commission envisions a fully active health ministry in every parish, reaching the entire diocesan community with care, accompaniment, and hope.

Programmatic Strategies
Short Term
2026-2028
Foundation- Establish Diocesan Health Core Team and form Deanery Health Teams.
- Launch parish-level health volunteers (minimum 3 per parish).
- Conduct training programs on home-based care, elderly and pastoral care.
- Begin registration and regular visits (every 2 months) for elderly/sick.
- Initiate health directory and referral linkages.
Medium Term
2029-2031
Strengthening- Expand to 50–100% parish health apostolate units.
- Implement a structured Sick & Elderly Ministry across parishes.
- Strengthen referral systems and partnerships (hospitals/clinics).
- Ensure regular outreach services in remote areas.
- Increase coverage of patients and vulnerable groups significantly.
Long Term
2032-2033+
Sustainability- Sustain comprehensive health apostolate system across all parishes.
- Provide continuous care and accompaniment for vulnerable persons.
- Institutionalize annual health camps and outreach services.
- Strengthen holistic care (physical, mental, pastoral).
- Ensure long-term impact with scalable and self-sustaining models.
