Women's Leadership Training Programme Report – Shimla Deanery As part of the Women's Commission initiatives, a Women's Leadership Training Programme was conducted across five parishes of Shimla Deanery. A deanery-level formation programme was held on 12 June 2026, bringing together 85 women leaders. Participants from patiala and simla deanery participated.

Simla Deanery: Simla, Kasuali, Kullu, Sundernagar, Solan, Baddi and Dagshai

Patiala Deanery: Patiala & Shekhpura

The sessions focused on Faith Formation and an introduction to the POCSO Act, equipping participants for effective leadership and safeguarding awareness.

Earlier, similar training programmes were conducted at Rajpura Parish on 3 May 2026, with 22 women participating, and at Sheikhpura Parish on 17 May 2026, attended by 25 women.

The sessions were animated by regional-level resource persons, including Sr. Ruby, Mrs. Sangeeta, Sr. Jairani, Mrs. Sangeeta and Sr. Alice. The programmes were well received and helped strengthen the faith, leadership skills, and awareness of women leaders in the deanery.
