Three-Day Bible Convention Draws Thousands to Mandi Dabwali; Many Report Healing and Deliverance

A powerful three-day Bible Convention organized by the Pilar Fathers concluded successfully at Mandi Dabwali this week. The spiritual gathering, held from 5th to 7th June 2026, drew thousands of people from across the Bathinda Deanery and neighboring areas.

The convention began with an inaugural Holy Mass offered by Fr Provincial, Rev. Fr Eulalio, invoking God’s blessings on the three days of prayer and preaching.

The sessions were led by renowned preachers Fr Thomas, OFM Cap and Fr Sijo, OFM Cap, whose messages on faith, healing, and hope deeply moved the congregation. Worship Bajan Sandhya was led by Bro Peter Hans and team, with hours of praise and worship.

A special session of worship time on Pilar spirituality was conducted by Bro David and the Evangelization Team, Delhi Province. The team shared about Our Lady of Pilar, the missionary zeal of St. Francis Xavier, and the inspiring life of Ven. Fr Agnello de Souza.

Fr Agnello’s devotional song was also presented, touching many hearts and deepening devotion to the Pilar charism.

Attendees reported a strong spiritual atmosphere throughout the event. Many testified of receiving physical healing, inner deliverance, and renewed blessings. Prayer sessions for the sick were held daily, with several individuals sharing testimonies of breakthrough.

The convention concluded with a solemn Holy Mass celebrated by the Vicar General of Shimla-Chandigarh Diocese, Rev. Fr Maria Silvadas. In his closing remarks, the convenor, Fr E. Gomes, thanked all the priests, religious, volunteers, and faithful for their support and participation.

Speaking on behalf of the local church, of Mandi Dabwali Church, Delhi Province, expressed gratitude: _“We thank Fr Thomas, Fr Sijo, Bro Peter Hans, and the entire team. They served with all their hearts. People were touched, healed, and chains were broken. We honor their labor in the Lord.”

The convention was held under the guidance of the Pilar Fathers, Delhi Province, and saw active participation from local priests, brothers, and volunteers from Mandi Dabwali Church.

The organizers extended special thanks to all departments and volunteers whose behind-the-scenes service made the event possible. The three days were marked by large crowds, peaceful arrangements, and a spirit of unity. Everybody went back peacefully, happy and spirit-filled with the Holy Spirit.
