Strengthening Family Life in Faith: MFC Seminar Held at St. Patrick’s Church, Dagshai
A spiritually enriching Missionary Families for Christ (MFC) Seminar was held on 20 September 2026 at St. Patrick’s Church, Dagshai, bringing together parishioners from Dagshai and Sabathu Parishes for a meaningful experience of faith, prayer, and fellowship.
The seminar was conducted by two couples from Goa - Mr. James Braganza and Mrs. Melfee Braganza, and Mr. Mario Fernandes and Mrs. Maria Fernandes—who shared their personal experiences and reflections on Christian family life, faith, and missionary commitment. Their inspiring presentations encouraged families to deepen their relationship with God, strengthen family bonds, and live out their Christian faith more actively in their homes and communities.
The programme began with the celebration of Holy Mass, followed by the MFC seminar. Participants were then given the opportunity to spend time in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the Sacrament of Confession, offering a moment of prayer, spiritual renewal, and reconciliation.
The gathering concluded with a fellowship lunch, providing an opportunity for families from both parishes to interact, share experiences, and strengthen the bonds of communion and friendship.
The seminar was a blessed and fruitful initiative that brought families together in faith, prayer, and fellowship, reaffirming the importance of Christian families as witnesses of God’s love and instruments of evangelisation.
