St. Xavier School, Bhaddalthuha (Amloh) celebrated Van Mahotsav with great zeal and commitment

To cultivate environmental consciousness and instil ecological responsibility, St. Xavier School, Bhaddalthuha celebrated Van Mahotsav with great zeal and commitment.

The highlight of the celebration was the Tree Plantation Drive, wherein students of Classes I–IV brought fruit saplings and planted them on the school campus. Every sapling symbolised a pledge to nurture nature, enrich biodiversity and create a greener, healthier tomorrow. The activity inspired young minds to realise that every tree planted today is a priceless gift to future generations.

The plantation drive also encouraged students to understand the invaluable role of trees in maintaining ecological balance. Teachers guided them about the importance of protecting saplings, conserving water, and caring for the environment through simple daily practices. The campus resonated with enthusiasm as every child took pride in contributing to a greener Earth.

Classes V–VI recited poems on 'Trees', Classes VII–VIII participated in a debate on 'Nature Preservation', and Classes IX–X expressed their thoughts through creative writing on the theme 'Save Nature'.
