Renovated School Block of Our Lady of the Snows, Bandrol, Blessed and Inaugurated
The renovated school block of Our Lady of the Snows, Bandrol, Himachal Pradesh, was solemnly blessed and inaugurated on September 3, 2026, marking an important milestone in the educational mission of the institution.
The blessing and inauguration were presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Sahaya Thatheus Thomas, Bishop of Simla-Chandigarh Diocese and President of the Simla-Chandigarh Educational Society.
The Bishop blessed the renovated school premises and formally inaugurated the newly refurbished block, invoking God’s abundant blessings upon the institution, its students, staff and all those associated with its mission.
The solemn occasion was graced by the presence of priests and religious sisters from across the Diocese, along with the architect, electricity department, teaching and non-teaching staff, students, parents and invited guests. Their presence added significance and joy to this memorable occasion.
The inauguration was an occasion of gratitude to God for His providential care and for the dedicated efforts of all those who contributed to the renovation of the school block. The renewed facilities will provide the students with a more conducive and enriching environment for their education, growth and holistic development.
The occasion also reaffirmed the Diocese’s continued commitment to the mission of education and to the formation of young people in faith, knowledge, values and service.
The renovated school block stands as a visible sign of this commitment and a hopeful investment in the future of the children entrusted to the institution.
