Holy Rosary Church, Sirsa Celebrates Green Day with Faith and Environmental Commitment

Holy Rosary Church, Sirsa, celebrated Green Day with a meaningful Eucharistic celebration and a vibrant commitment to environmental stewardship.

In preparation for the celebration, Fr. Reginald Kerketta, SFX, Parish Priest, invited every family to bring a sapling for planting and encouraged all parishioners to participate dressed in green as a sign of their love and concern for God's creation.

The Holy Mass highlighted the Christian responsibility to care for the environment and protect the gift of creation.

Following the Eucharistic celebration, parishioners enthusiastically participated in a tree-planting drive on the church premises, planting the saplings they had brought from their homes.

The celebration fostered a deep sense of ecological responsibility and community spirit, inspiring everyone to renew their commitment to safeguarding nature for future generations.
