Grandparents' Day Celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Convent Secondary School, Patiala

Our Lady of Fatima Convent Secondary School, Patiala, celebrated Grandparents' Day with great joy and gratitude, honouring the invaluable role of grandparents in shaping families and society.

The programme began with the lighting of the lamp and a prayer dance by the UKG students. The Chief Guest, Mrs. Poonam Dhawan, former teacher of OLF, was welcomed by the Principal, Rev. Sr. Immaculate, with a green sapling.

Students presented vibrant cultural performances, while grandparents enthusiastically participated in fun-filled games.
A touching highlight of the celebration was the Nursery children presenting handmade greeting cards to their grandparents as a token of love and appreciation.

In her address, Mrs. Dhawan appreciated the school's initiative and emphasised the vital role of grandparents in nurturing values and character in children.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Junior Head Girl, leaving everyone inspired to cherish the legacy of love, wisdom, and family values passed on by grandparents.
