From Seminar to Service: Young Altar Servers Lead the Eucharistic Celebration

Holy Rosary Church, Sirsa, organised a special seminar for altar boys and girls on August 30, 2026, aimed at helping the children grow in their understanding, participation and love for the liturgy.

As a fruit of this initiative, the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time, celebrated on August 30, witnessed a special milestone as the altar boys and girls took the lead in the liturgy and choir. It was their first attempt to coordinate and participate so actively in the Sunday Eucharistic celebration.

The young servers carried out their responsibilities with confidence, devotion and enthusiasm, contributing beautifully to the prayerful and joyful atmosphere of the celebration. Their active participation was a wonderful sign of the growing involvement of children in the liturgical life of the Church.

The initiative was successfully carried out and received with great appreciation from the parish community.

Congratulations to our young altar boys and girls! May they continue to grow in faith, love for the Eucharist and a spirit of joyful service to the Church.

The parish community looks forward to encouraging and nurturing these young hearts as they grow into committed and joyful missionary disciples.
