Congratulations! Simla Deanery Implementation Team Constituted
The Simla Deanery Implementation Team for the implementation of the Diocesan Pastoral Plan 2026–2033 was officially constituted on September 12, 2026, at St. Luke’s School, Baddi.
The Implementation Strategy Meeting brought together 55 participants, comprising priests, religious men and women, and lay faithful from various parishes of the Simla Deanery. Following prayer, reflection, and discussions on the pastoral priorities of the Diocese, the participants were organised into four implementation groups, each entrusted with specific pastoral areas for a two-year period.
Implementation Groups
Group I – 2026–2027 : Proclamation, Faith Formation, Liturgy, Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs), Bible & Media Apostolate
Fr. Sahayaraj – Solan; Fr. Antony Dexon – Simla; Sr. Bimla Sujata HM – Baddi; Sr. Jomy SD – Kasauli; Mr. Sudhir Tirkey – Baddi; Mrs. Kiran Minj – Solan; and Ms. Natasha – Dagshai.
Group II – 2028–2029 : Family, Laity, Migrants, Teen Ministry, Youth & Women.
Fr. Kishore Toppo – Baddi; Fr. Anishant B. Singh – Dagshai; Sr. Violet HM – Kasauli; Sr. Malya BS – Solan; Mrs. Seema – Subathu; Mrs. Suchita Kerketta – Kullu; Mr. James Barla – Solan; and Ms. Evangeline – Kasauli.
Group III – 2030–2031 : Social Apostolate, Health Apostolate, Education Apostolate, Ecology & Prison Ministry.
Fr. Michael Collins – Kullu; Fr. Henry Raj – Simla; Sr. Tesvin SD – Kasauli; Sr. Anita SABS – Sundernagar; Mr. Kuldeep Ekka – Chelsea; Mrs. Ranjita Tirkey – Dagshai; and Ms. Anisha Maria – Baddi.
Group IV – 2032–2033 : Ecumenism & Inter-religious Dialogue, Theology & Doctrine, Clergy & Religious, Vocations & Major Seminarians.

The four groups will serve as key instruments for coordinating, animating, implementing, and evaluating the various pastoral priorities of the Diocesan Pastoral Plan.
Their phased approach will enable the deanery to address each pastoral area systematically while encouraging active participation and co-responsibility among the clergy, religious, and laity.
The newly constituted team committed itself to working together in the spirit of communion, participation, and mission, fostering collaboration among parishes, commissions, religious congregations, and lay faithful.
