Celebration of St. John Maria Vianney Feast and Priesthood Day - Church of Our Lady of Miracles, New Chandigarh

The parish community of the Church of Our Lady of Miracles, New Chandigarh, came together in great joy and devotion to celebrate the Feast of St. John Maria Vianney—the patron saint of parish priests—along with Priesthood Day, honoring our beloved Parish Priest, Fr. Bibin, and Assistant Parish Priest, Fr. Rohit Xalxo.

Holy Mass and Spiritual Reflection The solemn celebration began at 10:00 AM with the Holy Mass offered by Parish Priest Fr. Bibin. The congregation prayed earnestly for the grace, health, and spiritual strength of our priests. The homily was delivered by Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Rohit Xalxo, who reflected on the exemplary life of St. John Vianney, reminding the faithful of the sacred vocation of priesthood, the power of pastoral care, and the constant call to selfless service within the Church community.

Felicitation Program Following the Holy Mass, a special felicitation program was organized to express heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Bibin and Fr. Rohit for their dedicated leadership and spiritual guidance. The event was collaboratively arranged by key parish associations: * Catechism Department * Mahila Sangh * Youth Association * Purush Sangh

Representatives from each organization presented tokens of appreciation and shared warm wishes, acknowledging the invaluable efforts of the priests in building a vibrant and united parish family.
Fellowship and Community Lunch The morning concluded with a festive community lunch, bringing together parishioners, religious sisters, and guests to share in joyous fellowship as one family in Christ.
It was a deeply meaningful and beautiful celebration, leaving the parish community spiritually refreshed and grateful for the gift of its priests.
