Catechesis on Lay Evangelizers Held at Panchkula Parish - Ramgarh Unit
A catechesis on “Lay Evangelizers” was held with a prayer service at the Ramgarh Unit of Panchkula Parish on 20 August 2026, bringing together around 35 lay faithful (participants) for prayer, reflection and formation.
The programme was led by Rev. Fr. Maria Selvadas, VG, and Fr. Vianney, Parish Priest of Little Flower Church, Panchkula. It was coordinated by Master Harpal Shergill, Catechist, Mr. Salmon Ekka, Leader of Unit 4, and Mrs. Monica Barla.
In his reflection, Fr. Maria Selvadas highlighted the vital role of the laity in the proclamation and spread of the Gospel.
He encouraged the faithful to recognize the challenges before them and, at the same time, to make use of the opportunities available to witness to Christ in their families, workplaces and society.
The members of the Ramgarh Unit extended a warm welcome and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the priests, coordinators and all those who contributed to the programme.
The gathering concluded with an offering of God's Word to all the families present in a renewed commitment to live the Gospel and actively participate in the Church’s mission of evangelization.
May God bless all the members of the Ramgarh Unit and strengthen them in their mission as witnesses of Christ.
