Commission for VSCR

To nurture a culture of vocations and support the human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral formation of priests and religious.

MISSION TRAJECTORY

The Commission for Vocation, Seminarians, Clergy, and Religious promotes the call to follow Christ and continue His mission in today's social, cultural, and economic context. Through Ongoing Formation, it seeks to improve the spiritual and pastoral life of priests and religious in the diocese.

The Commission works with other commissions to promote, discern, and foster vocations, taking into account family and cultural backgrounds. It strengthens formation through ongoing programs and seminars, and through close coordination with seminary formators, vocation promoters, Conference of Diocesan Priests of India (CDPI), and Conference of Religious India CRI at the diocesan and regional levels.
