Social Action Apostolate
To proclaim and work for the integral development of every person, defending human dignity, rights, peace and the integrity of creation.

MISSION TRAJECTORY
The Social Work Apostolate seeks to build a participatory, structured, and sustainable system of social ministry, rooted in Gospel values and Catholic Social Teaching, promoting human dignity, justice, and integral development, especially among the poor, migrants, women, youth, and vulnerable families, through trained lay leadership, community empowerment, and institutional collaboration.
THE 7-YEAR ROADMAP
Programmatic Strategies
Short Term
2026-2028
Foundation- Establish social work structures (deanery teams & diocesan resource team).
- Initiate outreach programs in parishes and begin awareness campaigns.
- Train deanery leaders and parish social workers (CST, leadership, safeguarding of children).
- Start livelihood training for youth and women; form initial SHGs.
- Build initial NGO/CSR partnerships (at least 3).
Medium Term
2029-2031
Strengthening- Expand outreach to wider population; scale awareness campaigns across all deaneries.
- Strengthen parish-level social work units (majority of parishes active).
- Increase trained leaders and social workers across the diocese.
- Grow SHGs and link families to government schemes.
- Deepen partnerships (5+ NGOs/CSR) and submit project proposals for funding.
Long Term
2032-2033+
Sustainability- Achieve full coverage: all parishes running structured social ministry programs.
- Reach majority of population through sustained outreach systems.
- Ensure strong, self-sustaining leadership network across all levels.
- Scale livelihood impact—significant number of families economically strengthened.
- Maintain multiple funded projects and long-term partnerships for sustainability.
