Commission for Ecology
To animate the diocese in ecological conversion and responsible stewardship of creation in our Himalayan and plains region.

Guided by the vision of Pope Francis in Laudato Si', we embrace a comprehensive ecological commitment rooted in our responsibility as stewards of God's creation. The Ecology Commission seeks to cultivate reverence for the sacredness of creation and strengthen awareness that every creature is held in God's loving care.
Through environmental education, promotion of sustainable living, and collaborative initiatives across parishes and institutions, the Diocese aims to foster ecological conversion and responsible care for our common home. By integrating sustainability into pastoral programmes and community life, we strive to safeguard both humanity and the environment for present and future generations.
